Maria Finkle Memorial Ceremony

On March 15, Nishmat, joined by Ohr Torah Stone, held a Memorial Ceremony for AFN Board member, Mrs. Maria Finkle, z"l, beloved benefactor of Nishmat's Maria & Joel Finkle Judaic Studies Program for Ethiopian Olot. Maria's passion was tzedakah, and particularly in the area of Jewish education for women. She viewed the hundreds of Ethiopian-Israeli young women at Nishmat whom she supported as her own children.
