The Alisa Flatow Post College Program is an opportunity for young women who want to spend an empowering year in the Bet Midrash learning a variety of topics to build a strong spiritual and intellectual foundation of who they are as religious women.

YOATZOT HALACHA Programs
Nishmat’s ground-breaking Yoatzot Halacha program is the leading halachic studies program for women today. The two-year fellowship program includes in-depth study of Hilchot Niddah under the mentorship of outstanding scholars and poskim, as well as supplementary studies in women’s medicine and halacha. Applicants are selected on the basis of Talmudic scholarship, religious commitment, and demonstrated leadership potential. The program has branches in Israel and in the USA. Read More >>

Nishmat's Ethiopian Women
Enables talented Ethiopian-Israelis to join the world of higher Torah learning while participating in a rigorous college preparation program. Students have the option of continuing on to Nishmat’s Joint-College Program.
The “Maayan Program” at Nishmat is considered one of the best initiatives for Ethiopian women, especially in light of the statistic that approximately 90% of the program’s graduates continue on to higher education and academic professional training. Read More >>

Nishmat’s Weekly Forum on Jewish Values and Social Responsibility
Students benefit from a weekly forum on social justice and Jewish values while being exposed to issues in greater society through a Torah lens.
In 2011, Nishmat established the Bet Midrash Chevrati, a weekly forum on social justice and Jewish values. The program, headed by published author and Modi’in rabbi Haim Navon, punctuates Nishmat’s philosophy of participating in greater society while staying rooted in Torah, by promoting community involvement and social responsibility.
The program has captured students’ imagination with text-based investigation of Judaism’s attitude on fissures in Israeli society, gender issues, internet ethics, agunot, Women of the Wall, culture and the media, organ donation, immigration, conversion, judicial activism, and more. Read More >>

Israeli Midrasha
Nishmat’s Israeli Midrasha is a program for women who have completed their National or Israel Defense Forces Service and attracts women from diverse backgrounds, kibbutz members to city-dwellers, from all over Israel. Most study at Nishmat for one year before continuing their higher education, while others continue their path to higher Torah scholarship at Nishmat for a number of years in Nishmat’s Educators’ for the Next Generation Program in conjunction with their university studies.
