“I see a lot of Nishmat Alumnae involved in prolific work in the Jewish world—I find it very inspiring. I enjoy my work in the secular world and being involved in my local Jewish community in Berkley, CA as a volunteer. I am grateful to Nishmat for preparing me to be a lay leader; with the in-depth Torah education I received, I am able to be a resource for women in my community. I’m involved in several local Jewish organizations and a women’s tefillah group.”
Meena recently joined the online Gemara course with Rabbi Kenneth Auman offered though Nishmat’s Miriam Glaubach Center.
