Community Hanukah Party

Yesterday, Nishmat held its annual Chanukah party for children and families in the surrounding Pat neighborhood. Children played Chanukah games, created beautiful dreidel and menorah crafts and enjoyed performances, all organized and facilitated by Nishmat student volunteers from the Israeli Midrasha program and Community Outreach Coordinator, Naama Dekel. A communal menorah lighting replete with singing, dancing and sufganiot (doughnuts), a sweet treat sponsored by the Flatow Family, topped off the exciting afternoon.
