Maayan, from Silver Spring, MD, attended Northwood High School. She has enjoyed learning Kuzari with her chevruta, as well her Thursday lunch-time chabura with bogeret, Ayigayil Unterberg. Maayan recommends Nishmat to students who are self-motivated and who value independent learning.

Maayan stayed on at Nishmat for 6 months in the Shiur Bet program and is currently doing Sherut Leumi in Maale Adumim.
