Chat with alumnae (Summer)
Erica Chaimowitz

Hi! My name is Erica Chaimowitz and I am from Monsey, New York and am currently living in Washington Heights. I work at the Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls (Widely known as SKA), where I teach Navi. What got me to this point in my life has been all of the tremendous and inspirational educators that I have been privileged to learn from over the years. I attended the Frisch School for High School after which I ventured off to Sha'alvim for Women for my year of studying in Israel. I continued on to Stern College for Women, where I graduated with a major in Judaic studies. This brings me to my present day occupation of teaching at SKA, and finishing up my masters at the Azrieli School for Jewish Education.

This past summer I spent my time learning with Nishmat as a participant of the 3 week summer learning program. It was a fast pace, intense and intellectually stimulating program. The classes were phenomenal, and they really pushed me to think in ways that I never had previously. I enjoyed every aspect of the program and would highly recommend it to everyone!!
