Rivka Hia

Rivka, from Queens, NY, graduated from the Bronx High School of Science. She had significant roles in leading its Jewish Student Union and was also involved with her regional NCSY chapter. She studied in Nishmat's Alisa Flatow International program in 2012-2013 where she was exposed to a new kind of Torah learning. Two of the aspects Rivka enjoyed most about Nishmat were its fabulous educators and its emphasis on source-based text study for women.

Rivka is currently a student at Yeshiva University's Stern College, where she is studying business.
