Elizabeth Lieberman is originally from New York but now lives in West Rogers Park, Chicago. She studied at Nishmat five years ago as part of the Shana Ba'aretz program before returning to the United States. She then attended Northwestern University where the skills and knowledge that Nishmat had given her proved invaluable for maintaining a commitment to Orthodoxy. She met her husband at Northwestern's Hillel and after graduation they were privileged to come back to Israel to study for six months before they return to Chicago. She is currently a student in the Alisa Flatow International Program.
Elizabeth and her husband plan on settling in Chicago for the immediate future and continuing to take advantage of the amazing resources for Nishmat alumnae that exist all around the world.
