In 2006, Dr. Felix Glaubach established Nishmat’s Miriam Glaubach Center to pay honor to his cherished wife, Dr. Miriam Glaubach. The mission of the Miriam Glaubach Center is to enhance women’s observance of the laws of taharat hamishpacha and bring the expertise and compassion of Nishmat’s Yoatzot Halacha to Jewish communities across North America.
Nishmat’s Miriam Glaubach Center provides unique programs and resources for individuals, families, synagogues and mikvaot, ranging from Shabbat scholars-in-residence and Yoetzet-in-residence workshops, to taharat hamishpacha “refresher” courses, Women’s Health and Halacha Days and other classes, lectures and programs tailored to an individual community’s needs.
To meet U.S. demand for Yoatzot Halacha, American Friends of Nishmat inaugurated the U.S. Yoatzot Halacha Fellows Program (YH-US) in September 2011, through Nishmat’s Miriam Glaubach Center.
