Deepen your connection to Am Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael!
✨ Live and learn alongside Israeli students.
✨ Celebrate Shabbatot and Chagim with the whole Nishmat community.
✨ Get to know Israeli families on campus, in the neighborhood, and through volunteering.
Chesed & Volunteering
Our schedule includes a two-hour chesed slot each week, on or off campus. The opportunities include helping run a bat mitzvah program for girls, assisting elderly neighbors with Shabbat preparation, running activities for the local neighborhood kids, volunteering in hospitals, and more. Nishmat’s chesed coordinator will help you find the project that matches your strengths and interests with the community’s needs.
Trips
Throughout the year, you will partake in memorable day trips and tiyulim across the country. Some of our highlights include a fun three-day trip to Eilat, a special weekend in Tzfat, complete with hiking its stunning mountainous surroundings, a 3-day Kibbutz experience, and more!
Host Families in the Community
Every Liba student is paired up with a local family. They will host you for meals, assist when needed, and create another support system for you in Israel! In addition, Kollel families who live on campus regularly open up their homes to students as part of the Bayit Cham program.
