Rivka Kahan

Rivka Kahan has been Principal of Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls for the past ten years, prior to which she was a member of the Judaic Studies faculty at Ma’ayanot. She has taught and developed curriculum for Tanakh, Gemara, Halakha, and Jewish Philosophy, and has held many roles in educational leadership. She has taught widely in synagogues and adult-education programs in the United States, and has published articles on topics in Torah and Jewish education. She holds a BA from Barnard College, an MA in Tanakh from Yeshiva University, and Certification in Talmud and Jewish Law from the Drisha Scholars Circle. She also studied at Nishmat’s Machon Gevoha. She plans to make aliyah with her family this summer, b’ezrat Hashem.
