Nishmat’s Alisa Flatow Post College Program enables young women to build a strong religious foundation that will support them throughout their lives. The yearlong study program in the heart of Jerusalem expands minds and ignites souls. For some, this is their first opportunity to engage deeply with Jewish texts, and forge a special connection to Israel and their Jewish heritage. Participants are mentored and guided by extremely devoted, highly skilled, diverse faculty. Throughout the year the young women spend various shabbatot and chagim together with staff in a variety of religious homes that inform their choices on the journey to building Jewish homes of their own.
Nishmat wants to provide every young woman a chance to build a strong foundation, to study and grow in an empowering religious environment for women. Although we tried to keep costs at a minimum, many of the students will not be able to pay full tuition without a scholarship. The scholarship is given as an interest free loan to be paid off over time, thus creating available funding to help other young women have the same opportunity in the future.
